"You Only Live Once"

A quotation or saying that almost all millenials know and often used.

As a teenager, I always enjoy and feel every moment as if it was my last one -but for good. Elders often say that enjoy your teenage days because it will just fade in sometime that you won't even notice it. Sabi nga nila "parang kailan lang".

Being a teen and somehow a senior high school student gives me more pressure when it comes to socialization, responsibility, independency, and what life truly means. 

I met various people with different characteristics along the way. My point of view was changed from the way it was before, that you can not pleased everybody. That each one of us is unique from one another. 

I've visited a lot of provinces in our country and along the journey I've learned and enjoyed. That there are so many things and places to explore in the country. Most of them will amaze you and some of them will be forever fresh in your thoughts.

I also experienced seating in front on my study table and reading the pile of books all through out the night just to secure my grades during my examination week. The subjects that made me cry because my brain won't process it anymore, and the sleepless nights making research papers and projects. The small quarells I had with some of my closest friends and how we mend it at the same day. How we shared our crushes and what characteristics we liked from them. 

I will always look forward on starting my daily journey. Leaving our house early in the morning and biding good bye to my parents and then, walking on the streets of our subdivision and greeting every guard I've passed through. 

Those memories will be forever cherished. The experiences that I will always treasure as a student and as a teen. The thoughts that I will be reminiscing alone while drinking a warm cocoa in my own house in the future. These things came in into my life for free but will always have a great impact for me as an individual. 

This is my kind of Y.O.L.O. and it will always be for keeps.
