As I got home, weary yet full. I don't have enough courage to have a sit in our dinning table and eat the dinner intended for me which is mongo - my favorite dish.
The night before thursdays, our squad talk about our usual meet up at 7/11 convinience store in front of our school at 10 in the morning. We always eat in front of our school or what Lasallian students' call "baba" and enjoy each other's company. It's a great way to share each other's opinions about each subjects we have or ask if everyone done their homeworks to remind them the activities we will have during that day. Of course, when thursday (September 14) came, we all messaged each other of where they are and even acted that we are already at the 7/11 waiting for them. Some of their reactions are even horrified and desperate to ask if she is the only one which is not there due to traffic along the way. At the end, we laughed at one another because we came around at the same time and caught the one lying who said she's been there for around 15 to 30 minutes already. Together we walked towards the venue of our lunch date - The Lains. From all the canteens around the area, Lains offers a great deal for students like us. They even offers budget meals ranges from 30-70 pesos only, but there's more. They also offers unli rice, unli soup, and unli juice or iced tea of your choice. After that long eating and chatting galore together, we walked towards the school and enter it's premises. We headed to our P.E. class at around 11 something and arrived half an hour before the class starts.
After P.E. was our Classroom Assessment subject. Yeah, it was one of our major subjects and took 3 hours to end in a week. After listening and participating in our classroom discussions, we are already asking if anyone in our class was already hungry. Because our class ended early, we already agreed to eat outside as a class of 8. It was fun indeed but also memorable. Memorable because it was our first time to eat together as EDU21. Our squad which was also my classmate in the said program was shocked because we've been there in the canteen they all agreed to eat at during that said morning. But we don't have any choice but to feel and embrace that once in a lifetime moment. We ordered our meals together like a family, we laughed at each other's joke, even waited together for the meal to be complete, and prayed and eat together.
This day was unforgettable and a time when we all looking forward to have more dinners together as a class. We're all full and I think my wallet was crying because I spent a lot for foods today yet I'm happy. So I think, its 50% happiness and 50% sadness to my budget.
