Tired of school works , super stressed in thinking what to do next in your school list , or even anxiety on reminding yourself that Midterm is coming along the way. Well , this part of the blog is for you.
This Friday , after coming home from school (yeah, I'm so freaking tired) I invited my parents to go on a trip - a very short vacation trip just for us , just to unwind. My dad told me that we should try going to Tagaytay. Well, Tagaytay is just an hour or two from our location and we often go there when we have family lunch so I hesitated. The following morning (Saturday) we're off to nowhere in Tagaytay. Guessed what, it's raining so hard to the point that we already entered the town it was very foggy , as in we need to stop by to any place/hotel near the town. We accidentally entered "Lake Hotel Tagaytay" and from the facade outside (for my opinion) it was very small compared to the hotels we usually see in the net. As we enter the hotel , like oh my gosh, I don't really expect the scenery once you stepped inside the building. It was very elegant, you can see the perfect landscape, a great scenery from the deck viewing the Taal Lake (w/c at first I didn't saw because it was so foggy) , and the infinity pool was awesome, also the front desk host was very attractive, not to mention how his looks really made my jaw drop at that moment. From my point of view "it was an expected blessing" or "blessing in disguise".
Walking towards our room is so cozy, cozy that behind the building's simple facade hides a very elegant hallways like this. So modern I can say, even the beep card or the card which can open your hotel room door was cool. Entering our room was very exciting, we chose the room which can view the beauty of the Taal Volcano but the hotel surprised us unexpectedly. The room itself was more than beautiful than the view to be honest. So elegant, cozy, modern , a place that anyone would dream to be at , specially the view to the bathroom. From the room you can see the bathroom through the mirror which can be blinds off from the inside. My most favorite part in visiting a certain place is going to it's bathroom and start criticizing the place through it (and I know I'm not the only one who do this thing). The bathroom was 2 times more elegant than the room, yeah, I thought I can even sleep in the tub because it was very pretty. Any teenage girl will love the bathroom because has everything (mirror , round mirror which can zoom in 3 times than the ordinary mirror, a hair dryer , a tub , shower place which have doors and a sufficient place that can hold your belongings like make ups and more.
I'm not advertising the place but I'm telling my own experiences and point of view while I'm at this hotel.
That night , we even went for a swim. I know what you;re thinking and yes I wore a swim suit. I took away my pride and dignity ( char! ) , my shyness alone and enjoyed my night in their indoor pool. It was like we own the whole area because we're the only guest that go for a swim that night. The pool's temperature that night? Oh my gosh, it was like doing an ice bucket challenge in the pool. Like swimming on ice in North Pole (minding the location of the pool and the location of the hotel , it was not that warm as we think).
Even the morning buffet was awesome. I tried to eat a lot of things I like, the foods that I hardly eat on a daily basis and enjoy that moment while listening on the music coming from the organ. Many guests are there with me eating their breakfast , I can even say that they are also enjoying their morning like me. Having a small chit-chat with their family and friends, drinking a cup of coffee , taking selfies and going to the buffet tables for their next round meal.
Everyone of us has a different story to tell why we have or need a vacation. But for mine, I need to take a break from reality - going to school, listening to our professors , submitting the school works , going home , eating dinner and going to sleep, again and again. I think I need more time with my family alone, enjoy the view of the nature and time to chillax. Everyone of us deserve to enjoy life, treasure each moment not by just planning a trip but to experience it by ourselves, and share that moment / experience to our close ones. I know it was just March but who knows, this part of my blog may help you find your vacation destination.
